Major iPhone Review Sites Threatening to Shut Down This morning, Apple delighted owners of App Store review sites with the fact that it will no longer pay cash rewards for links leading to the store.

It is about 7% of the cost of the application. This amount was paid to the sites from which the installation was made.
Many thematic resources reacted very sharply to such a statement. Some have even promised to close.
Toucharcade, one of the oldest and most authoritative resources with reviews of thousands of applications, has published a message to its readers.
Now we just don't know what to do. One gets the feeling that Apple is doing everything to end our existence.
For many years we have helped Apple make billions of dollars from downloading applications, for which we received such an unpleasant surprise.
I never thought Apple would want to kill a site like TouchArcade.

In addition to TouchArcade, the AppShopper site, dozens of discount aggregators, hundreds of thematic resources with reviews of applications and games from the App Store faced a similar situation.
One gets the feeling that Apple too much felt the ground under its feet. Through thousands of sites, the company promoted the App Store for a modest fee, and then simply left its assistants behind.
P.S. We have not used this program even once in the history of the site. The guys from TouchArcade can only sympathize.
