The system of organizing baby food will be tested in all educational institutions of Tatarstan after the mass poisoning of schoolchildren in the Aktanysh region.
The corresponding instruction was given by the head of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov at a meeting in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan.
- Rustam Minnikhanov announced the inadmissibility of such incidents in the future. To this end, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan instructed in the near future to check how baby food is organized in educational institutions of the republic, in particular, to get acquainted with the system of purchasing products, the conditions for their storage and the sanitary condition of the premises, as well as take the necessary measures to eliminate the shortcomings, - the press release says - services of the head of the region.
As a reminder, on September 6, 22 pupils of grades 1-4 of the local secondary school 2 were delivered to the hospital in Aktanysh village. Later, three more schoolchildren needed the help of doctors. The children complained of abdominal pain and nausea. According to preliminary data, the cause of the poisoning was an intestinal infection, the source of which has not yet been established. Most of the students were discharged from the hospital. It is planned to leave four children under medical supervision, whose condition is assessed as moderate.
In the regional department of the RF IC, a criminal case was opened on the fact of mass poisoning under the article on the provision of services that do not meet the safety requirements for the life and health of consumers (Part 1, Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
The exact cause of the disease will be established after receiving the results of laboratory tests of samples that were selected the day before by employees of the republican department of Rospotrebnadzor.
