The authorities of St. Petersburg are planning to organize the rest of children in the autumn and winter holidays in health camps and sanatoriums, the press service of the administration of the governor of the city reports.
It is noted that the document was developed taking into account the new requirements for the organization of safe recreation for children while maintaining the risks of the spread of coronavirus infection.
Vouchers to children's camps in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region will be received by children and adolescents aged 7 to 15 years belonging to privileged categories: orphans and children left without parental care, children from incomplete, large and low-income families or registered with the internal affairs bodies … This list also includes the children of health workers who provided medical care to patients with coronavirus. Disabled children from 7 to 17 years old will be able to relax in sanatoriums. Rest for these categories will be fully covered by the city budget.
Children of working citizens and children from sports and creative teams will receive a ticket to children's camps with 60 percent compensation. To do this, you need to apply to the education committee and receive a special certificate.
It is noted that health camps and sanatoriums will meet all safety standards and sanitary and epidemiological requirements. Preparation for the shifts will be carried out in advance, before the arrival of the children, each institution will receive an appropriate conclusion.
In addition, the decree increased the amount of budget funds allocated for the rest of each child. This measure will help the organizations of children's recreation in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region to continue their activities next year.
At the same time, it is noted that in case of deterioration of the sanitary and epidemic situation, the decree may be suspended.
