Being the child of a celebrity is not easy: your whole life is on display. And if, for example, an ordinary boy dresses up as a girl, then very few people will find out about this (unless the parents themselves tell), but everyone will know about the stellar offspring at once. However, some children of the stars decided - and their parents supported them in this.

Shade Adu and Isaac Theo

The daughter of the singer Shade Mikhail (Ila) declared herself transgender in 2016. The 20-year-old was openly lesbian and decided to change her gender. The long journey of becoming a man took almost three years, and for almost six months Shade visited the child in the hospital.

They did not make secrets from the operation, telling in detail about the transition on Instagram and the video blog. Isaac Theo (this is now Ilu's name) expressed gratitude to his mother for the support and lives in London with his girlfriend.

Cynthia Nixon and Samuel Moses

The Sex and the City actress revealed in 2018 that her child is trans:

"I am so proud of my son Samuel Joseph Moses (they call him Saf) who is graduating from college this month."

No details about the transition followed. Previously, the actress's child was named Samantha Moses, and Cynthia also has a son, Ezekiel, from her ex-husband Danny Moses. In 2012, Cynthia Nixon tied the knot with Christine Marinoni. Together they raise their son Max, born Christine in 2011.

Cher and Chaz

Since 1969, the famous singer and actress Cher has raised her daughter Chastity, born in marriage to Sonny Bono, who later became a transgender son, Chaz Bono.

Unlike other stellar parents, Cher did not immediately come to terms with the choice of the child. However, she admitted that they are now creating new memories and are very happy together.

Chaz began the gender reassignment process in 2008 and even directed the documentary Becoming Chaz. He also wrote The Transition: The Story of How I Became a Man and became the first transgender person to play a man in a movie.

“I was born this way, and I have no doubts about it,” he admits in an interview.

Cindy Barshop and Jesse

The actress of the series "Real Housewives of New York City" accepted her son's choice immediately. He is only 9 years old - and he has a twin sister, Zoe, who easily accepted that her sister wants to be a brother.

In an interview with People, the actress stated:

“Transgender children are aware of their identity. It's not about sexuality - and that's the most important thing. This is precisely a change in gender identity, not sexual orientation. Children have the right to admit it early, but they are not listened to. Half of transgender teenagers try to commit suicide! Listen to your children."

Charlize Theron and Jackson

The actress revealed that her adopted child Jackson is actually a daughter when the baby was three years old:

“I have two beautiful daughters (Augusta is also adopted) whom I want to protect. They have the right to be whoever they want, it's not for me to decide. My business is to love and accept them, to know that they have everything they need."

In August 2019, Theron showed Jackson on Instagram for the first time in three years, and then posted a photo of a child in a pink swimsuit, for which she was criticized by some colleagues.
