On the eve, a regular meeting was held at school 41, dedicated to the construction of the future preschool institution. Deputy Mayor of Vologda, Head of the Department of Urban Development Anatoly Baranov met with the initiative group.
Let us remind you that the construction of a kindergarten for 220 children on the street. Yaroslavskaya between buildings 34 and 36 is planned in 2020. However, some residents of the microdistrict opposed the start of work. Vologda residents were worried about the organization of the entrance to the kindergarten, the arrangement of parking spaces and the state of the existing playground in the yard.
“The purpose of our meeting is to present the final version of the construction to the residents of Byvalovo so that they can think it over and express their proposals at the final meeting. Residents are still split into two camps: some are in favor of the construction of a kindergarten, some are against. I am sure that over time we will come to an agreement, and there will be more supporters of the construction of a preschool institution,”commented Anatoly Baranov, head of the Urban Development Department.
On the updated project, carried out taking into account all the comments of residents, a new traffic organization scheme for the entrance to the kindergarten from the street. Yaroslavskaya between houses 36 and 38. So that the parents of the inmates of the institution do not park in the courtyards, it is planned to install a number of barriers. The playground will also be preserved, it will be smaller, but it was decided to update and modernize it.
The presented project caused heated discussions in the hall, people divided into groups to discuss transport logistics and the future of the playground. Note, as a rule, the parents of children and their relatives are in favor of the construction of a kindergarten. According to the Education Department, as of September 1, 338 children are waiting for a place in a kindergarten in Byvalovo microdistrict, next year this figure will reach 487.
“I am a grandmother, and one of my granddaughters was given a place in the kindergarten on the street. Belyaeva. I have to take her there because the children are working. Soon one more granddaughter will go to school. So we really need both a school and a kindergarten. I don’t understand, if they start building this or that institution under my windows, why should I oppose the construction?”Says local resident Tatiana Zhuravleva.
The final decision on the place and timing of the construction of the kindergarten will be made on Wednesday, November 27, at the next meeting with residents of the Byvalovo microdistrict. Vologda Mayor Sergei Voropanov will take part in the conversation.
