State Duma Deputy Irina Yarovaya proposed to make mandatory medical examination of educational programs. This was reported in her press service.
“The most important issue is the issue of preserving the health of children. Today, schoolchildren have an increase in diseases of the organs of vision, the musculoskeletal system, and the digestive system. At the same time, doctors are not connected in any way to the examination of educational programs, no one gives an assessment of the load on the child, the impact of new learning technologies on him, whether the children will remain healthy. There is an obvious imbalance and contradiction here. It is impossible, without assessing the safety of the child's health, to offer everything new and new. There must be a balance in favor of the healthy development of the child. Therefore, I propose to make a medical examination of educational programs a prerequisite for their adaptability and implementation, "- are the words of Yarovaya in the material.
She also proposed for the regions to make it mandatory to develop uniform standardized competitive procurement. In particular, this standard should include criteria for the quality of purchases of products for baby food. According to Yarovaya, this will help to avoid unjustified overpricing and violations.
“On an initiative basis, since 2016, my colleagues and I have been implementing a program for installing automatic weather control devices in kindergartens and schools in Kamchatka. We have reduced the incidence of sickness among children, reduced sick leave for mothers and created more cost savings. Earlier, I worked out an issue with the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, and the Ministry supported this approach. I propose to make this standard for the connection of autonomous and comfortable heating supply mandatory in regions with difficult climatic conditions during the construction of new schools and kindergartens. It will be a modern approach to preserving children's health. I propose to launch a pilot project in the Far East, and then in the whole country,”added Irina Yarovaya.
