"The republican budget provides 227 million rubles for the organization of recreation and health improvement for children this year. These funds can provide health benefits for more than 17 thousand children and adolescents. According to her, this year 29 out-of-town and 56 school organizations have submitted applications to the preliminary register of organizations for recreation and health improvement of children. The capacity of country camps in one shift is 8130 places, school - 5830 children. "In order to ensure the openness and accessibility of the provision of state services for the organization of recreation and health improvement of children, as in 2018, the issuance and receipt of vouchers will be carried out through multifunctional centers in the field," the head of the Ministry of Education and Science of the region added.

According to the Prime Minister of Dagestan Artyom Zdunov, ensuring safety is especially important in organizing children's recreation. "The Ministry of Education, together with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in Dagestan, needs to take additional measures in this direction," he said. Speaking about catering, Zdunov noted that "the heads of municipalities should control these supplies, and the public procurement committee should monitor how the products will be purchased."

Earlier it was reported that in the summer season of 2018 in Dagestan, 16 thousand 639 children and adolescents were covered by all forms of recreation and health improvement, of which more than 15.8 thousand were funded from the republican budget. Schoolchildren rested in 24 stationary children's camps and 13 day camps. In total, more than 218 million rubles were allocated for the summer health campaign in the republic last year.
