As it became known, on the evening of November 11, the head of the Ulyanovsk region, Sergei Morozov, signed a decree on high alert in connection with the coronavirus pandemic. It spells out new restrictive measures: cafes, restaurants and other catering establishments will be able to work from 7.00 to 22.00, they must be closed at night, citizens over 65 must be on mandatory self-isolation until November 30. In the schools of Ulyanovsk and the region, from November 16, the holidays will begin, which will last for a week. At this time, schools will be disinfected, and teenagers will be prohibited from appearing in shopping centers without their parents' accompaniment. “Students of institutions of secondary vocational education are switching to distance learning. An exception is practical training in groups of up to 12 people. During the holidays, we recommend switching the parents of primary school students to the remote mode. We strongly recommend employers to switch pregnant women to a remote mode of work,”Morozov wrote on his Instagram account. All New Year holidays will be canceled in schools, universities, kindergartens and enterprises in order to reduce the risk of contracting coronavirus infection. Banquets and other entertainment events are also prohibited in restaurants. Another innovation will affect public transport - bactericidal air recirculators are to be installed in buses and trams from November 25. In taxis, drivers must install protective screens between the driver and the passenger seat. Mask regime continues in shops, transport and other public places. The main restrictive measures will be in effect until January 10, 2021. This is reported by Sergey Morozov on his Instagram account. Earlier, "FederalPress" wrote that in the Ulyanovsk region it will be forbidden to spend money on expensive New Year's decorations. This will affect the administrations of cities and municipalities of the region. Photo: FederalPress / Polina Zinovieva
