ULAN-UDE, July 16. / TASS /. The authorities of the Republic of Buryatia are organizing 200 children from the Trans-Baikal Territory, in which there was a flood, to rest in health camps. This was reported on Monday by the press service of the government of Buryatia.
"The authorities of the Trans-Baikal Territory appealed to the government of Buryatia with a request for assistance in organizing recreation in summer health camps of the republic for 200 children from Transbaikalia in connection with the flood in the region. prepare for the reception of children from the neighboring region and organize their rest at the proper level, "- said in the message.
The relevant ministries have already begun calculations for financing the camps where children from Transbaikalia will go to rest.
In the Trans-Baikal Territory, it rains almost daily for about a month, 29 settlements, including the cities of Chita, Shilka and Nerchinsk, got into the flooding zone. The water heated over 700 residential buildings, about 1.5 thousand household plots and 2.8 thousand summer cottages - as of July 16, 173 houses remain in the flooded zone. In the region, 27 road and one railway bridges were damaged and destroyed, roads were washed out. An emergency regime has been introduced throughout the territory of the region.
