Doctors discharged seven of the 10 hospitalized students of school 8 in the village of Tishchenskoye, Stavropol Territory, who were taken to the hospital on March 5 after spraying an unknown substance in the building of the educational institution. This was announced on Wednesday by the press service of the regional governor.
During the first lesson on March 5 at school 8 in the village of Tishchenskoye, a pungent smell of an unknown substance appeared in one of the offices. 10 students in the ninth, eighth, fourth and third grades felt unwell and were hospitalized. The children complained of dizziness, nausea, and fever.
"Seven out of ten hospitalized on the eve of secondary school students in the village of Tishchensky, Izobilnensky urban district, have been discharged today. Three more schoolgirls will remain under medical supervision for several days. The state of health of all children is satisfactory, there is no threat to their life and health," the message says.
Employees of the juvenile affairs department, experts, police officers, Rospotrebnadzor and the Ministry of Emergency Situations worked at the scene. The Commissioner for Children's Rights in the region Svetlana Adamenko previously told TASS that she intends to join the check after the incident after the first conclusions of the experts appeared.
