In the Center for Social Assistance to Families and Children "Helios" (Koktebelskaya str., 8), the "Moscow Smena" has been working for the last month.
Every day at 9.00 30 boys and girls from 7 to 14 years old, living in the North and South Butovo, come here. After breakfast, one group of children goes to Library 193 on the Adventures of Harry Potter quest, and the second, consisting mainly of boys, masters the "security code". They guess riddles and find out which socket and which wire can cause a fire, what should be done first of all if a fire does occur. Trying on the profession of a firefighter, children with boyish passion put on children's gas masks and take home mini-fire extinguishers in their hands. And most importantly, in the process of playing, the children learn an important truth: matches are not toys for children.
The classes were conducted by Elena Kuznetsova, a specialist in social work of the day care department for children and adolescents. She had previously undergone special training.
“In our“Moscow shift”children from large and low-income families have a rest. Today we are recording for the third shift, which will begin on August 1 and end on August 28. We have self-government. At the beginning of the shift, we choose our assistants. And each shift ends with a day of good, which is held under the motto "Do good!" We are summing up the results: by voting we find out which activities the guys liked more. And, of course, we conduct contests and quizzes. - says the director of the center for social assistance to families and children "Helios" Olga Klimkina.
