In Rostov-on-Don, after the scandal that erupted at school 107, they decided to discuss the problem of bullying. A pediatrician was involved in the dialogue with the teenagers. The lecturer explained how to recognize the problem for children and adults, how to prevent serious consequences.

“In the Center for Medical Telecommunications of Children's City Polyclinic 1, in partnership with the ILC of Rostov-on-Don, they raised an acute topic of bullying among adolescents. Asiyat Yakokutova, a pediatrician at the children's polyclinic 17, told the schoolchildren about this phenomenon in an online broadcast,”the city administration's website says.

In January 2021, a Rostov woman turned to the editorial office of "Notepad Rostov", whose son became a victim of bullying at school 107 (Voroshilovsky district). At first, the boy was called names and provoked in every possible way, but then it came to the point that the fifth-grader was in the hospital. In the summer of 2020, the boy fell and broke his head. According to eyewitnesses, the student was pushed by a peer. After that, the fifth grader was turned into an outcast.

At the same time, the school management considers the situation with trauma to be an accident. A very "pedagogical" measure will help to avoid such cases in the future, says the headmaster of school No.107 Sergei Altukhov - "one more time do not approach the child so that there are no questions."

IA REGNUM reminds that bullying is psychological terror, beating or bullying one person by another. In Russia, according to some sources, only a third of schoolchildren have never faced peer bullying. This is mainly psychological violence: threats, derogatory nicknames, ridicule, including over appearance. In 2019, the All-Russian Trade Union of Education and the Federal Scientific and Methodological Center for Psychology and Pedagogy of Tolerance announced the launch of an anti-bullying program in schools called “Everyone Matters”, the task of which was to improve the qualifications of teachers and prevent aggressive behavior of students.
