Children's camp "Green Republic" in Novosibirsk will resume work on August 10. This was announced today at an operational meeting in the regional government.

All disinfection work has been completed. The camp is now ready for the opening of the last summer shift.

"Rospotrebnadzor must take control washes and, accordingly, there must be a court decision on the opening of the camp," said Yaroslav Frolov, Acting Minister of Labor and Social Development of the Novosibirsk Region.

As reported by Sibnovosti.ru, the camp was closed on July 27, 2018. In one of the detachments, a child complained to the counselor about feeling unwell. The boy was admitted to a medical facility. Within a day, several more children filed complaints about their health condition and were also urgently transferred to medical workers. In total, there were 11 people on the list of cases - nine children and two adults. According to preliminary data, the cause of the disease was an enterovirus infection. Later, the regional department of the ICR opened a criminal case under Part 1 of Art. 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (provision of services that do not meet the requirements of the safety of life and health of consumers).

At the time of the incident, there were more than 300 schoolchildren in the institution, all of them were sent home early. The regional government promised to compensate parents for unused rest days or provide them with vouchers to the camps for other shifts.
