Russian woman Anna Varganova and her two minor children, who were confiscated from her by Italian social services, returned to Russia thanks to the joint work of Russian diplomats from the three countries, the Russian embassy in Italy reported on Monday.
“Recently, a year-long process connected with the suspension of the parental rights of Russian citizen A.S. Varganova in relation to her minor children in Italy, which lasted for a year, was successfully completed. to Italy and after completing the necessary legal formalities, he safely returned home with the children and their biological mother, "said the representative of the embassy.
At the end of September 2019, the juvenile court in the southern Italian city of Bari suspended Varganova's parental rights in relation to her five-year-old son. She gave birth to a son in Italy, but the father abandoned the child. The financial situation of the single mother turned out to be precarious, because of which the son of Varganova was placed in a social institution for children. According to the woman herself, the child was taken away from her after learning that she was going to return to Russia. Subsequently, the Russian woman gave birth to another child, who was also sent to a social institution in Italy.
