Grachevsky admitted that his own postulate helped him to survive difficulties - to walk on the sunny side of life. Boris Korchevnikov, in memory of Boris Grachevsky, once again remembered the conversation with him in the program "The Fate of a Man". Where he even brought to the studio "Snezhok" - favorite sweets of the director of "Yeralash". In the program dated March 20, 2018, which the Russia-1 channel repeated in memory of the legendary director of Yeralash, who passed away today, the guest recalled that he was still a very young boy when his family lived in the basement of a building in Baumansky Lane of the capital. Every day in the window, according to Grachevsky's recollections, legs, from five in the morning the sound of a tram on the rails. But in the morning, a ZIS with white covers on its wheels stopped under the same windows. He came for the then Patriarch of All Russia. And a white old man came out, from whom, according to the interlocutor, there was a fantastic holiness. The Patriarch always took out sweets from his huge pockets and treated the local kids. These were those "Snowball" caramels. “And holiness, together with them, passed through me like a flour,” Grachevsky told about his childhood feelings. These meetings with the Patriarch, and the sweets from him became for Grachevsky, in his opinion, something more than just a treat. While serving in the army, Boris received a very serious injury, for a long time he was in the hospital with a fracture of the cranial vault. He experienced clinical death twice. And he even remembered the sensation of fluttering hair as he flew down the tunnel towards the light. “Although I was bald in the army then,” Grachevsky recalled. And then, when the danger had passed, and he nevertheless returned to this world, his doctor told him that every day, passing by his board, he was afraid to go into it, because he thought: "And Grachevsky died." Talking about the twists and turns of his difficult life, Grachevsky admitted that optimism had always been instilled in him by his own postulate - to walk on the sunny side of life.
