In the capital school 492, a "hot line" was launched in connection with an outbreak of acute intestinal infection in children of the preschool department. Anna Melnikova, curator of educational institutions of the Southern Administrative District of the capital, informed the Moscow City News Agency about this.
“On the occasion of an outbreak of acute intestinal infection in children of the preschool department of school 492, a“hot line”was organized, the phone number of which is posted on the school's website. In accordance with the Rospotrebnadzor order, the preschool department of the school is closed for quarantine, all disinfection measures have been taken. A total of 35 inmates applied for medical help, 22 of them are in hospital. The issue is under constant control of the Department of Education and other departments of the city,”A. Melnikova said.
She noted that this issue is being checked by the control services of the capital's Department of Education. The epidemiological investigation is also carried out by specialists from Rospotrebnadzor and the Moscow Department of Health.
“The Department of Education sent an appeal to the self-regulatory organization“Association of Social Catering Enterprises in Education and Healthcare”with a request to conduct a comprehensive due diligence of the school food supplier,” added A. Melnikova. Earlier, the Moskva Agency, citing the curator of the educational institutions of the capital's Southern Administrative District, reported that the information disseminated in the media about the poisoning of 87 children of the preschool group at school 492 is not true, cases of acute intestinal infection were detected in 20 children.
