The carabinieri of the Sicilian city of Palermo arrested the parents of a 10-year-old girl, who forced their daughter into prostitution. According to RIA Novosti, two men were also arrested for having sex with a child.
The investigation began last summer, when law enforcement officers found a car parked on a country road, where an elderly man and a little girl were.
During the investigation, it turned out that

a pensioner for money several times had sexual intercourse with a girl. All funds were taken by the child's parents.
The mother was in charge of organizing the meeting. The amounts she asked for her daughter were quite modest, from nine to 25 euros. The father knew about what was happening, but he was in no hurry to report it to the police.
All four were placed under house arrest. Psychologists work with the girl.
