Natalya Karpovich, a 46-year-old Russian athlete, public figure and mother of six children, has become a guest of Boris Korchevnikov's program "The Fate of a Man" on the Russia 1 TV channel. In the studio, Karpovich spoke frankly about her plight and family dramas.
As a child, Natalya dreamed of becoming a skier, and later became interested in biathlon, but a serious injury received in her youth did not allow her to achieve great success, although she managed to get the title of master of sports in cross-country skiing.
Karpovich married early, but the marriage was doomed to failure due to the assault of her husband and his betrayals. As a result, the then still 18-year-old girl was left alone in the big city with her little daughter in her arms. A few years later, she fell in love with another man named Sergei, but even here the family happiness was short-lived - the second husband, who was the liquidators of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident, died of cancer. Natalia took his death very hard, did not even want to live, but still coped with the blow for the sake of their joint little son, who was only a year old.
In the middle of the 2000s, Natalya Karpovich took up boxing, and achieved serious success in the ring. The woman's third husband was her coach Nikolai Kibkalo, to whom she gave birth to a daughter, Anna. They also adopted a boy who was left an orphan - his parents were close relatives of Nikolai. However, it later turned out that the guy was suffering from a serious mental illness, and one day he almost killed Anna, because of which he had to be placed in a specialized institution.
"He could not live in a family, it was dangerous. Once he even tried to strangle our youngest child, he was stopped at the last moment. After this incident, we were looking for medicines for another year and a half to normalize the mental state, but it was all in vain," Karpovich said.
Subsequently, Natalya divorced Nikolaev, although they managed to remain friends. Karpovich's new lover was a married entrepreneur, to whom she gave birth to two children, but in the end, the family did not work out for them. Finally, the woman found Dmitry, with whom she has been happily living for several years. In 2015, Natalia, already in the status of a grandmother, gave birth to her sixth child.
Despite all the blows of fate, Natalya Karpovich does not complain about anything and is glad to every moment of her past. After all, she's happy now.
