Police officers, representatives of the Public Council at the district department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Youth Center of the city district administration held a patriotic and preventive event for the children from the Gorizont school camp.
Anastasia Megaeva, Legal Counsel, told the children about the holiday that our country celebrates on June 12. The guys vied with each other to answer the questions of the quiz dedicated to the symbols of the state.
The juvenile affairs inspector Marina Brovkina reminded the children of the rules of safe behavior during school holidays at home, on the street and near water bodies.
The school camp was also attended by a police dog handler and his pet, a Labrador Retriever. Vladimir Filippov told the children about the profession of a dog handler and interesting cases from his work, and also showed the skills that a service dog possesses. The children did not want to let the police officer go for a long time, they asked about the pupil and the methods of his training.
The camp administration and the guys thanked the organizers for the meeting. The representative of the Public Council, Yuri Tabyrtsa, assured that such events and excursions are planned to be held on an ongoing basis. Police officers and community activists wished schoolchildren and teachers a pleasant, useful and, most importantly, safe rest.
