The event was held as part of the "Car seat for children" campaign.
As part of the action "Car seat for children" the employees of the OGIBDD of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia "Perevozsky" held a conversation with the students on the prevention of child road traffic injuries in the winter. This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod region.
During the conversation, the employees reminded the students of the Perevozsky Children and Youth Center of the need to comply with the traffic rules, paying special attention to the rules of conduct when they are in the courtyard. The inspectors also talked about the retroreflective elements, namely, that this means of passive protection can reduce the risk of getting into an accident several times.
In addition, the traffic police reminded the children of the rules for transporting children in the car. They talked about what kind of injuries children get in road accidents if they do not fasten their seatbelt in cars, and that it does not matter whether a long trip is ahead or not, the passenger must always be in the car with a seatbelt fastened. The children described how they get to school and what restraints they use.
