Physiotherapy can help young mothers, according to a new study from the Missouri State University of Health.
According to the online edition Express, scientists conducted a study in which women who gave birth to a baby by caesarean section at 37 to 42 weeks of gestation took part. Some of them underwent physiotherapy 1-2 times a week for 1.5 months after giving birth. The program included scar therapy, mobilization of the hip joints, soft tissues and the lower back. At the same time, the control group of young mothers received only a standard protocol, which included the recommendation of abdominal exercises and consultation on the care of the scar.
