A family friend, historian Yevgeny Spitsyn, said that the Norkins had family problems just before Yulia's death, because of which the journalist's wife was very worried. Their youngest son, Alexei, faced difficulties moving to high school.

“She consulted with me. I told her what to do. Apparently, the nervous tension associated with one of the children, and plus all these coronavirus cases, they caused emotional stress. I had a heart attack. And they did not manage to save Yulia,”the publicist shared on the air of the Komsomolskaya Pravda radio.

It is known that Andrei and Julia met in 1992 and got married a month later. At that time, the radio host raised her son Alexander from his first marriage, and in 1995 the couple's daughter was born, who was also named Alexandra. In 2002, the couple became parents again: they decided to take an important step - adoption, taking into the family a seven-month-old boy Artyom, whom his own mother left. And two years later, the Norkins learned that the same woman had abandoned another son, Alexei, and they also adopted him.
