In the Vladimir region, the police found a seven-year-old boy alive, who disappeared a month and a half ago. All this time he was kept in the basement of the house. The man suspected of kidnapping the child was detained. According to the regional ombudsman, he is mentally ill. We tell you what is known about the incident, as well as the state of the boy. He pushed him into the car and drove away On Monday, September 28, a seven-year-old boy was returning from school in the Kameshkovsky district of the Vladimir region, but he never made it home. According to the investigation, on that day a 26-year-old man arrived in the village of Gorki by car. He saw a boy near the pond, stopped and began a conversation with him. Then the man put the child in a car and took him to the village of Makarikhu, located 20 kilometers from Gorki. He kept the boy in the basement for a month and a half, until the first grader was released by operatives. Now the child's life is no longer threatened, he was returned to his parents. The boy's father, Alexander Rogovtsev, said that his son was forcibly put into a car. The search involved representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Emergencies, the Investigative Committee, district and regional administrations, volunteers. In October, a reward of 1 million rubles was announced for help in the search. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the child's whereabouts were eventually found thanks to cooperation with foreign colleagues through Interpol channels. They reported on darknet posts about a man keeping a little boy at home. The data was confirmed. To free the boy, the operatives had to seize the house of the alleged kidnapper. According to the child's father, at that moment there was another man in the house. The suspect was detained, investigators are working with him. Criminologists are also working at the scene. The detainee is mentally ill The kidnapper kept the child in a house on the very outskirts of the village, so no one saw the boy, said the father of the first grader. "In relation to us, we did not notice any changes in him, but he was scared. He was captured, and he was scared. He was kept in the house itself, this is a remote village, the house is practically the last, in the suburbs," the man explained. After his release, the parents took their son home to the village of Gorki. There he ate sweets, drank tea and quickly fell asleep. The father noted that in the near future the boy will be at home, the issue of attending school has not yet been discussed. The first grader was also examined at the regional hospital. According to media reports, there are four sons in the family, the kidnapped boy is the youngest. In turn, the ombudsman for the rights of the child in the region Gennady Prokhorichev said that the detained man has mental problems. "This is a mentally unhealthy person, so far only this is known," the ombudsman said. According to the information portal Life, this is not the first time the suspect has abducted children. A year ago, he allegedly stole another boy. But the man managed to avoid responsibility, so he was diagnosed with schizophrenia. The publication, citing a law enforcement source, reports that the suspect has long had an unhealthy interest in little boys. It is noted that this time the man kept the first grader in the basement and allegedly allowed him to climb to the first floor of his house only for the second month of captivity. According to the source, the suspect did not rape the boy, but corrupted, for example, showed porn and was engaged in self-satisfaction with him.In the near future, the family will be visited by the child rights ombudsman in the Vladimir region and investigators.
