The head of the Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Vladimir Region, Major General of Justice Alexander Elantsev, met with representatives of public youth organizations, the Commissioner for Children's Rights Gennady Prokhorichev and the chairman of the Public Council under the Investigation Department. The meeting and conversation took place in a relaxed atmosphere over tea.
The youth of the region was represented by such well-known public organizations as the Children's Public Council under the Ombudsman for the Rights of the Child, the Public Children's Councils of the Vladimir gymnasiums 3 and 23, as well as the boarding school - lyceum. In addition, the event was attended by guys who have an active life position, working in "Dobroshtab".
Young people did not hesitate to ask Elantsev many questions related to child safety on the Internet, in particular on social networks. A new generation was also interested in the topic of child safety, including for the protection of young people from being drawn into extremist activities. They also asked who is ultimately responsible for raising a child.
The Major General, for his part, in addition to answering questions, also spoke about how the Investigation Department works.
It is no coincidence that one of the central topics of the conversation was the problem of liquidating emergency, abandoned, dilapidated buildings and structures. Employees of the Investigative Committee spoke about their vision of this issue and how they personally can help in resolving the issue - so that the number of abandoned and dilapidated buildings is less, and access to them is more closed for children.
For example, currently, at the direction of the head of the Investigation Department, pre-investigation checks are being carried out on two dangerous objects in the city of Vladimir, located on Studenaya Gora and in the area of the Torpedo stadium, identified during a joint raid with the Children's Public Council under the Ombudsman for the Rights of the Child.
At the end of the meeting, the head of the Investigation Department thanked the children for their participation in the public life of the region and asked them to spread their positive ideas that contribute to the safe behavior of adolescents as actively as possible.
