In Minsk, they said goodbye to Roman Bondarenko, who died after being beaten by unknown persons in the courtyard, which became known as the "square of changes". The video was published by Tut.by on its Telegram channel.

At some point, people who came to the Church of the Resurrection of Christ on Gamarnik Street raised their hands with flowers.

Protester Bondarenko, 31, died in hospital on November 12. He was hospitalized with numerous injuries from the Central District Department of Internal Affairs, underwent surgery and was in a coma. The neighbors of the deceased said that on the eve unknown people in masks came to their courtyard and began to remove white-red-white ribbons, which are used as protest symbols. Bondarenko went out to ask what was going on, after which he was "professionally detained."

The Investigative Committee said that there was a fight "between aggressive local residents, hanging the ribbons, and the people taking them off." The policemen who arrived at the scene found Bondarenko "with bodily injuries and signs of alcoholic intoxication."

In Belarus, for the fourth month, mass protests have continued after the presidential elections on August 9, according to which Alexander Lukashenko, who ran for a sixth term, received 80 percent of the vote.
