Earlier, the city portal E1.ru reported that on Sunday at about 4.30 pm local time (2.30 pm Moscow time) due to a breakdown one of the attractions fell to the ground - the carousel "Cosmos", on which children aged 3 to 10 years old ride. "The check is carried out with us by the investigation department for the Oktyabrsky district of the city of Yekaterinburg of the TFR. According to available data, the child has not been confirmed. No bodily harm has been recorded in the child. All the circumstances are being clarified. The head of the press service of the GUMVD for the Sverdlovsk region, Valery Gorelykh, told RIA Novosti that the police had not received any statements about the incident at the moment. Nevertheless, a check on the fact of the incident is being carried out.
"At the moment, no statements and messages have been received in OP 7 of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Yekaterinburg, on whose territory the Central Park of Culture and Leisure is located, as well as in the regional central administration. The information that has appeared in social networks is currently being checked. an investigation team will be sent to the park. Based on the results of the inspection that has begun, an appropriate decision will be made. I have no doubt that an internal official inspection is already underway in the Central Park, which will give an answer to the question of how such an emergency could have occurred and by whose negligence, if any ", - said Gorelykh.
According to him, the park said that they had settled the misunderstanding. “In the park itself, the police are assured that they have allegedly settled a misunderstanding with the relatives of the child who was miraculously unharmed. Perhaps this explains the absence of an application to the regional GUMVD,” concluded the head of the press service.
