It is necessary to introduce criminal liability for non-fulfillment by foreign agents of the requirements provided for by law after they have been brought to administrative responsibility, says Andrei Klimov, head of the Federation Council commission for the protection of state sovereignty. This was reported by the press service of the Federation Council.
“In addition, it is necessary to introduce administrative liability for violation of the order of activity of all types of foreign agents for the lack of marking on the status of a foreign agent in media materials,” the senator said at a meeting of the commission on November 17.
The parliamentarian also urged to introduce regulation of the procedure for financing public events, limit foreign financing and provide for administrative liability for violation of the financing procedure.
The senator also proposed dismissing teachers if they use educational or educational activities to incite social, racial or religious hatred, induce them to take actions that contradict the Russian Constitution.
Corresponding amendments to the legislation will be prepared, said the chairman of the Temporary Commission of the Federation Council.
