The Ombudsman for the Rights of the Child in Russia Anna Kuznetsova again spoke on the resonant situation with the Omsk Yumashev family, where the child was punished by kneeling on buckwheat.
According to the children's ombudsman, it was a huge mistake that the boy was allowed to live with his mother during the investigation of this case.
“The boy is now in a very difficult, poor psychological state after he learned that his mother had been arrested and sent to a colony for a year and a half,” the Federal News Agency quoted Kuznetsova as saying. - What does it say? That she was proven guilty for crimes against this child. Unfortunately, the guardianship and guardianship authorities did not comply with the law when the child was handed over to the mother. Realizing that investigative actions are underway, that serious criminal articles have been instituted against her, there is a suspicion of her involvement in the tortures that were over the child, the horrors that were committed over him, they were guided by some very strange, empirical observations.
And our words are confirmed by the prosecutor's office. She sent us an official reply that the child was handed over to the mother inappropriately. And now the guardians say: "He has already become attached, and their relationship has been built." That is, now, after the verdict has entered into legal force, we are again tearing the child's soul apart, separating him from his mother, and this decision should have been made initially. If they had obeyed the law at this stage, of course, we would now see a completely different picture."
Recall that in recent years, Alina Yumasheva raised her second-grader son together with her cohabitant, a programmer Sergei Kazakov. By chance, thanks to their neighbors in the country, it became known that adults severely punish the child, including offering him expired meat for food and forcing him to kneel on buckwheat for hours. This method of punishment was invented for the boy by Kazakov. The child's mother calmly perceived these upbringing methods, without stopping the roommate in any way.
While the investigation into the torture case was underway (both Yumasheva and Kazakov were involved in the case), the guardianship authorities allowed the mother to live with her son. It was reported that they managed to establish good contact, the fact of warm relations between them was accidentally recorded by the correspondent of "NO".
However, after the court sentenced Yumasheva and Kazakov in real terms, the boy was again left alone. The child took the news that his mother went to the colony badly - he had a hysteria. Now he is being brought up under the supervision of a psychologist. Today it became known that the boy will be given to his grandmother for temporary care. What kind of grandmother we are talking about, given the fact that, according to media reports, Alina Yumasheva is an orphan, and the child's own father is not interested in his fate, is unknown.
