The new building of kindergarten 12 "Aquarelle" in Torzhok, Tver region, was visited by Governor Igor Rudenya on January 14 during a trip to Torzhok, the press service of the regional government told a REGNUM correspondent.
“We see a completely new kindergarten in terms of equipment, where all the requirements for convenience and safety have been met - warm floors, doors with glass, including those on fire doors. The institution meets all standards, everything has been done to ensure that children grow up in modern conditions,”said Igor Rudenya.
The new building of the kindergarten was built within the framework of the national project "Demography". The building houses nurseries, middle and senior groups, playrooms, a music and sports halls, a catering unit, a medical office, and a laundry. A new kindergarten for 100 places has been designed, five groups for children from one to eight years old will be located here. The staff is already fully staffed - in total, 14 educators, speech therapists, educational psychologists have been hired, physical education instructors and a music director will also work in the kindergarten. All rooms in the kindergarten are equipped with an automatic fire alarm system, an alert system with a signal output to the control panel of the Emergencies Ministry of Russia Torzhok. The building is guarded round the clock.
Igor Rudenya set the task to complete all preparatory work and open a kindergarten from February 15th.
Kindergarten "Aquarelle" became the seventh preschool institution built in the Tver region over the past two years. In 2020, institutions were opened in the Yuzhny microdistrict in Tver, Likhoslavl, the village of Emmauss of the Kalinin district and in the village of Rivitsky in the Maksatikhinsky district, in 2019, kindergartens were opened in the village of Kalashnikovo in the Likhoslavl district and in Staritsa. In 2021, it is planned to build six kindergartens for a total of 1,010 children: three institutions in Tver, one each in Toropets, Vyshny Volochyok and in the village of Burashevo, Kalininsky district.
