Since the beginning of 2020, 7102 gift sets for newborns have been handed out in the Tver region. This measure of support for families with children was introduced on October 1, 2019 at the initiative of Governor Igor Rudeni within the framework of the national project "Demography". To date, 9533 families of the Upper Volga region have received gifts for the birth of babies. The set was formed taking into account the opinion of the residents of the region, according to the results of surveys in the media and social networks. It includes bedding, clothing, hygiene products and other items necessary for caring for an infant - 50 items in total. The gift is provided for the birth and registration of a new little citizen of the Russian Federation on the territory of the Tver region. The set is provided to parents, adoptive parents, guardians of a newborn child living in the Tver region. In this case, the baby must be registered at the regional registry office. The gift is provided once for a newborn child, and in the case of the birth of two or more children - for each baby. For families where the child was born, the kit is issued until the child reaches the age of 3 months. You can get a gift at the registry office and in the territorial centers of social services at the place of residence
