Lisa Tikhonova is nine years old. From birth, the girl suffers from a heart defect. The child underwent five operations, four of them on an open heart. The girl is constantly under the supervision of doctors. At one and a half years old, the baby suffered a stroke. Parents at home have to monitor the state of the child's blood. Liza's operations were performed by one doctor - cardiac surgeon Timofey Nevvazhai. Now the specialist has moved abroad. This winter, doctors revealed abnormalities in the child's heart. Lisa needs surgery - she needs to replace the gradient on her mitral valve.
“At the Penza Cardiology Center, doctors do not undertake such a complex operation. But in the cardiology center in Holland they promised to have an operation. All operations were performed by the cardiac surgeon of our children's cardiology department. But unfortunately he left Russia. And now he works in the city of Leiden, in Holland, where they are ready to receive us. But for this, an amount has been set that we simply cannot afford,”said Liza's mother, Anastasia Orlova.
