All infectious beds in the Kuznetsk interdistrict hospital - and there are 50 of them - are full. This was announced at a meeting in the administration on Friday, October 16, by the deputy head physician Marina Makarova.
According to her, the situation changes every day. According to the routing, patients to be hospitalized are sent to the Nikolskaya RB. About 100 people undergo computed tomography every day.
A second computed tomography machine will finally appear in Kuznetsk in November. It, as planned, will be installed in the children's hospital.
The head physician of this institution, Galina Deryabina, reported an increase in cases of coronavirus infection in children. “If in the spring four cases were revealed, now there are already eight,” the press service of the Kuznetsk administration quoted her as saying.
In this regard, Deryabin is worried about the situation with the vaccination of the child population. “We have received the second batch of vaccine, but the parents, while vaccinating themselves, are in no hurry to protect their children. And if flu appears against the background of covid cases, it will be difficult to predict the situation,”said Galina Deryabina.
