School director Marina Shamina said that accidents with children and adolescents have become more frequent in educational institutions of the city recently. How should educators act in such situations? How to discern a psychological problem that can lead to health problems for a child? These questions were answered by the heads of the departments for organizing medical care for children of educational institutions of the 26th and 6th children's polyclinics.

Doctor Marina Makarova told the teachers about the prevention of alcoholism in adolescents and about proper nutrition for schoolchildren.

“Recently, in our city, cases have become more frequent when teenage girls refuse to eat, trying to become like models from glossy magazines,” says Marina Eduardovna. Such girls are immediately visible: they are very pale, do not perceive information well, do not learn the material in the classroom. They have only one thing on their mind - to lose weight. It seems to them that this makes them beautiful, but in fact leads to physical and nervous exhaustion. On the other hand, adolescents who have tried alcohol are often hyperactive. Of course, activity still does not give the right to assert that the child has drunk. But this is still a wake-up call and a reason to pay increased attention to this teenager. Perhaps you need to talk to the parents, ask how the child behaves at home, advise them to control him more.

Olga Prokhorova spoke to teachers about child injury prevention. She said that 20% of injuries children get at school:

- Most often they break their hands. The majority of injuries occur in children aged 8-10 and teenagers 13-15. Kids do not always understand that running along the corridors during recess can lead to falls and injury. But teenagers are already aware of this. But against the background of hormonal changes that occur at the age of 13-15, they are still trying to throw out energy somewhere. Typically, injuries occur by accident. But there are times when teenagers quarrel, fight and inflict serious injuries on each other. To avoid such situations, it is important to constantly remind them of the value of life and health.
