Deputy of the State Duma of Russia Maxim Suraev talked with the pupils of the center for special children "Luchik" and presented them with gifts on June 4. Representatives of the Public Chamber of the city also took part in the action “Do Good Balashikha”.
About forty special children of the center received gifts. For boys, they prepared transforming robots, toy soldiers and toy pistols, and for girls - balls and dolls. The pupils of the center, together with the animator, sang songs and danced for parents and guests of honor. Parents also discussed with Maxim Suraev the problem of the lack of specialized kindergartens for children with certain diseases.
“Such actions should be organized more often - children and parents should feel the help, support and care of caring people. There are kids with special needs that require special care and attention. Unfortunately, there is no specialized kindergarten for them in Balashikha. We will go to the government of the Moscow region to organize a kindergarten for such children, where they could develop and rehabilitate,”said the State Duma deputy.
Maxim Suraev is a pilot-cosmonaut, Hero of Russia, and the children enjoyed taking pictures with him. In the fall, six-year-old Styopa Sychkin will go to first grade, but he already knows who he wants to become. He shared his dream with the guest of honor.
“A pilot-cosmonaut came to us today and gave me a gift. I told him that I also dream of becoming an astronaut! Maxim Viktorovich asked if I do sports and said that I will succeed,”Stepa shared with“Bolshaya Balashikha”.
Another pupil of "Luchik", eleven-year-old Misha Murashev, also has a small dream. The fire engine that was presented to him, he was very happy and thanked all the workers of the center.
“I am very grateful to this center for the fact that we are all friends here, we are happy, we are given good gifts. Timati came to us here, and the cosmonaut - it's great here! " - Misha said.
Center for special children "Luchik" has been operating since 1992. It trains children with diseases such as cerebral palsy, heart disease, diabetes, autism, Down syndrome. About forty children are preparing for school with the help of the center's specialists. In "Luchik" there is a gym, massage rooms, a sensory studio and circles where children can be creative.
