Sergei Sobyanin invited Muscovites to wish each other a Happy New Year using a postcard on a social network. He wrote about this in his blog. "If you want to wish your relatives, friends, acquaintances and just all Muscovites a Happy New Year, you can do it right now. Send them a greeting card by signing it using social networks," Sobyanin wrote. He specified that all postcards will be published on his website. According to the mayor, although 2020 brought serious challenges, the city managed to do a lot for the development of Moscow. He expressed hope that in the outgoing year there was a place for pleasant events in the personal lives of Muscovites. Sobyanin urged residents of the capital to remember the good. He also wished that all bad things would soon be forgotten. "With all my heart I wish you good health and prosperity in the upcoming year 2021! Happy New Year!" - concluded the mayor. Earlier, the "Good Christmas tree" campaign was launched in children's hospitals in Moscow. Children will be presented with educational toys, board games, puzzles, sets for drawing and coloring, as well as sets for creativity, puzzles and books from the "School Library" series. The events will take place in the capital from 21 to 28 December. The action will be held in 15 medical institutions, including the infectious diseases clinical hospital 6, the scientific and practical center for mental health of children and adolescents named after Sukhareva, the children's clinical hospital of St. Vladimir and others. Events in each hospital will be held in compliance with all safety measures.
