The organization "For Family Rights" published on the platform of the CitizenGO portal a petition addressed to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, Ombudsman Anna Kuznetsova and Minister of Justice Konstantin Chuichenko.
Activists ask to remove from the updated Code of Administrative Offenses from the wording about “improper performance of parental duties”. The organization considers this wording "rubber", allowing children to be taken away from their parents for reasons unspecified in the law.
At the same time, the authors of the initiative do not propose to clarify the criteria by which the supervisory authorities can prosecute dysfunctional parents.
“This article makes it possible to punish parents not only for failure to fulfill parental responsibilities, clearly provided for by laws, but also for their“improper fulfillment”. That is, people fulfill their parental duties, but officials fine them all the same - because, in their opinion, they performed them “worse than it should be,” "ASI quotes the petition.
Also, "For the Rights of the Family" demanded to start bringing to justice officials who violate the rights of parents in the field of education and healthcare.
We will remind, earlier activists of CitizenGO demanded to resume sales of the book of anti-vaccine Antonio Amantonio.
