The government allocated more than 1.4 billion rubles for the purchase of medical vehicles for rural areas
The government has allocated more than 1.4 billion rubles for the purchase of vehicles for medical institutions located in rural areas and small towns of Russia. We are talking about equipping polyclinics, medical outpatient clinics, feldsher-obstetric points and regional hospitals, according to the press service of the government of the Russian Federation. As noted, this money was planned to be allocated for them in 2021, but due to the situation with the coronavirus, they decided to accelerate the procurement. The financing will come from the government reserve fund in 2020 and will help to purchase 2 thousand cars. The transport will be used for the departure of doctors on calls, transporting patients to hospitals, as well as delivering medicines to residents of remote settlements. This will increase the availability of medical services and reduce the burden on ambulance services.More information about the changes in the automotive world in connection with the pandemic is contained on our website under the tag coronavirus.
