Doctors note that the procedure has become more accessible.

Families in the capital are increasingly using the opportunity to go through the in vitro fertilization (IVF) procedure, which is provided free of charge in several Moscow clinics. The service is available to everyone who has a compulsory medical insurance policy and a desire to try this method of conceiving a child. As a result, over the past year the IVF procedure has become much more popular among Moscow parents. The official website of the capital's mayor's office informs about it.

Thanks to the free in vitro fertilization (IVF) procedure, 742 children were born in Moscow last year. This is almost twice as much as in the previous year, - said in the news.

And this is not surprising, because, according to the chief obstetrician-gynecologist of Moscow, Anton Olenev, the IVF procedure has become more effective and affordable. For example, in 2015, it was possible to use it only in 15 clinics, and today parents are already being accepted in 39 medical institutions.

In 2017, the percentage of pregnancy after IVF according to the compulsory medical insurance amounted to 30 percent, and in 2018 it was possible to increase the indicators to 33.8 percent, which corresponds to the world standards of the effectiveness of the procedure.

- explained Anton Olenev.

By the way, according to the Moscow Department of Health, in 2017, doctors performed 3.6 thousand free IVF procedures, and in the past - more than four thousand.

Recall that those couples who cannot do it naturally can apply for a free IVF procedure. Moreover, women who do not have a permanent partner can take advantage of this chance. According to the rules, a woman must be given a referral to a clinic where patients are selected for IVF infertility treatment. To obtain this referral, you must confirm with your obstetrician-gynecologist that it is not possible to give birth to a child without medical intervention. Then the woman is put on a waiting list, and then the address of the clinic where you can undergo IVF is given. A complete list of medical institutions in which the procedure is carried out is available on the website of the Department of Health of the capital.

Note that celebrities often resort to the IVF procedure, but not everyone talks about it publicly. For example, this procedure helped to become the mother of the former KVNschitsa and ex-heroine of Comedy Woman Elena Borshcheva.
