On October 17, 1995 school demonstrated the new capabilities of the capital's education system. History lesson. Instead of textbooks, schoolchildren have tablets on their desks. Where the chalk board used to hang, modern electronic now flaunts. Young teacher Yevgeniy Kimeris tells sixth graders about the rise of Islam. The guys do not take their eyes off the pictures on the screen.
“I wrote all the illustrations and texts for the lesson myself,” says Evgeniy Kimeris.
The teacher from home uploaded all the material to the new educational portal "Moscow Electronic School" (ww.uchebnik.mos.ru). Students have access to it too. You just need to enter the username and password that they use when entering their electronic diary.
“Teachers can share this“constructor”of the lesson with colleagues from other educational institutions,” says school director 1995 Elena Norenko. - It is important to share experiences with other teachers.
Parents can easily find out what topic their child studied in the lesson, what questions the teacher asked him. Another advantage: students no longer have to carry heavy school bags with them. Now all books and manuals are available on the portal in the "Library" section. You just need to have a tablet at hand and an internet connection.
“Our school bought several tablets,” says the director. - But many students already had their own. We do not forbid them to use their technique in the classroom.
Alexey Schegoltsov, Deputy Director of the City Methodological Center:
Electronic lesson scripts are convenient for both teachers and students. If one teacher falls ill, then his replacement will not have to come up with a lesson plan - the scripts are saved in the Moscow Electronic School system. They are also available to parents.
