Little Nyagan Lev Filatov is now 5 months old, but the baby is already attending kindergarten. His mother had to go to work to support her family. Nursery for babies is a new trend in preschool education in Ugra.

As in Soviet times
“Lyova is the fourth child, it is difficult for dad alone to support our family, and hiring a nanny is extremely expensive,” says the baby’s mother, Irina Filatova. - I have known this garden for a long time, our second son went to it. I know what responsible teachers there are, how the leader himself relates to the garden, and therefore I give the child away without fear. When I pick him up, he is always clean, well-fed, well-slept and contented."
The group was opened on the basis of a private kindergarten, designed for 5 children. Everything you need is prepared here for caring for babies: playpens, walkers, a variety of swings, educational games, high chairs and cots for the little ones. The head of the kindergarten, Tatyana Neboga, admits that she understands parents who are forced to go to work early because of their financial situation and debt burden.
“Such groups are not new for our country; in Soviet times, the practice of day nurseries was the norm. Women came out of maternity leave from three months. The smaller the baby, the easier it is for him to adapt to the garden, the main thing for a child at this age is that he be dry and well-fed. Probably, the mother herself is more worried, but she does not need to be afraid, professional teachers and assistants who have undergone special training take care of the kids,”says Tatiana.
We add that the regional authorities have already given instructions to organize such groups in all municipalities of the district. Now the nursery accepts children from 2 months in Nyagan and Nizhnevartovsk. If the demand for them grows, they say in the department of education of the district, then individual entrepreneurs and non-profit organizations will be attracted, ready to provide such services. Babies can also be sent to family groups.
“A family group is when a mother, for example, is on parental leave. And she can take another baby in her apartment, if it meets the requirements for quadrature and hygienic conditions,”says Vera Frese, head of the education department of the Nyagan Committee of Education and Science. - In this case, the mother is listed as an employee of one of the kindergartens and receives a salary. But there is a prerequisite: one of the parents must have a pedagogical education."
Childhood affection
The private kindergarten of Ekaterina Belousova from Nyagan is aimed at children from 9 months old, she does not support the opening of a group for babies: “I don’t understand the current tendency to open nurseries, they will not be in demand in small towns. I see no reason to create non-standard conditions for the sake of one or two kids, to buy expensive equipment. For me, as an entrepreneur, this would be impractical. I believe that most parents are not yet ready to send their child to the kindergarten from two months. The practice of my kindergarten shows that only 20% of parents bring children under one year old."
Psychologists advise mothers not to rush to work early, if possible, it is better to pay more attention to the psychological health of the baby. Yulia Rusinova, a perinatal psychologist, a mother of two children, started working remotely when her youngest daughter was 3 months old.
“I'm a fan of attachment theory. Psychologists are of the opinion that a special relationship is formed between a mother and a baby from birth, it is these relationships that are the basis of the child's future self-confidence, adequate self-esteem, and most importantly, the ability to trust, be close with other people, and love. How healthy attachments develop between an infant and his “main adult” will largely determine how a person builds a relationship. And it is the first year that is very important, especially the first three months after birth, the so-called period of carrying out or the 4th trimester. When mom and baby are still one whole, although they are already separated from each other."
