The Association of Large Families in Moscow and the Fund for Supporting Children in Difficult Life Situations are holding the All-Russian Angel Wings action on November 27, the press service of the regional public organization Association of Large Families of the City of Moscow said.
“The action is timed to coincide with one of the most touching holidays of the year - Mother's Day. Children all over Russia paint their guardian angel as they imagine it. Angels are the personification of love, kindness, protection and salvation - just like mom,”the message says.
The main goals of the action are to draw public attention to the issues of motherhood and childhood, to raise the social status of large families, as well as to form children's value orientations towards goodness and peace.
Traditionally, the action in Moscow takes place in the Cathedral of Christ the Savior with the blessing of the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill. Starting from 2015, other cities of the country began to join the capital. In 2019, more than 40 thousand people took part in the action. Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Nikas Safronov is the ambassador of the action.
Children will be able to express love and gratitude to their mother on November 27, 2020 - together they will draw their guardian angel. The action will take place from 12:00 to 17:00 hours in the territories of all constituent entities of Russia that have given their consent to participate.
Until December 1, 2020, the ten best works from any region must be attached to the application on the website (https:// large families.rf/krylya_angela). Until December 10, two of them will be selected - they will be included in the book-album "Angel Wings". Authors of the best drawings will receive a personal certificate from Nikas Safronov.
