On Monday, October 19, the Governor of Primorye Oleg Kozhemyako opened a kindergarten after a long reconstruction, according to IA DEITA. RU.

He solemnly cut the red ribbon with the pupils of the kindergarten and the head of the MBDOU CRR Kindergarten 11 "Matroskin" Larisa Savelo. According to the governor, he visited the kindergarten not for the first time, he was here almost two years ago during the election campaign. At that time, there were difficulties at the facility, but through joint efforts it was possible to increase the estimated cost and financing of the work.
“Almost two years later, the kindergarten is ready to accept 190 children. It has good sports and music halls, a large territory within one hectare,”noted Oleg Kozhemyako.
The head of the kindergarten, Larisa Savelo, stressed that now 145 children go to the kindergarten, but it is designed for a larger number of children, so the administration of the educational institution accepts new applications from local residents.
“The first 40 children came to kindergarten on October 12, on the second day about 50 children entered. We gradually had children in order to keep the distance, because the country has a difficult epidemiological situation,”said Larisa Savelo.
There are also several unusual groups in the kindergarten. First, a group of infants from 2 months will open in it, where young mothers will be able to give their babies in order to go to work. Secondly, in the kindergarten, the only compensatory group for the whole of Spassk-Dalny was opened for children with developmental problems.
The main guests of the holiday were local residents who bring their children to kindergarten. They honestly stated that they were no longer waiting for the opening of the kindergarten.
"The reconstruction of the kindergarten began in 2014, and for four years the building was simply unfinished. We wrote to all authorities to continue the reconstruction, but our letters remained unanswered, and during the election campaign, the governor came and solved the issue in one fell swoop," she said Elena Oleinikova.
She added that the parents had already been given a tour of the kindergarten, as well as a general meeting, where they learned their wishes about additional education. So, by the end of the year, they promised to create several directions in the kindergarten: light construction, chess, drawing and stenography.
