Arkady Ukupnik met his current wife Natalia twenty years ago. Then the singer was not free, he was married to Maria Nikitina, the couple raised their daughter Yunna and looked quite happy. But for the sake of a new woman, he decided to divorce.
“We met once, spent a great day together, but Natasha did not understand that I have some feelings for her. I was married after all,”Ukupnik said on the air of the“Visit in the Morning”program. “Literally three days later, we crossed paths again at a party, and then I realized that if I pass by now, I miss her, we will never meet again. That's why I came up and asked for a phone number."
The couple quickly formalized a relationship and began to live together, dreamed of children, but they could not conceive. They did not give up hope and tried for over ten years. In 2011, a joyful event in the family did happen. Now the couple does not hide: they are thinking about the birth of another baby. “Sonya really insists on having a brother. We ourselves are just thinking about it. Of course, I understand that I am not young, but I believe that fate should decide everything in such matters. Who knows how it will turn out,”Ukupnik shared.
