Specialists-immunologists claim that the most effective vaccination will give in August-September, since the body will have time to develop immunity before the period of high morbidity.

Let's meet fully armed
This year, residents of the region will be attacked by about 12 types of flu. However, all types of the virus are well known to doctors and have been encountered in past seasons. Strains of "swine flu" (A / H1N1) are also expected. Several cases of this particular type of flu were recorded last winter in Russia and in the Altai Territory.
According to the head of the department for the prevention of infectious diseases of the regional center of epidemiology, Irina Pereladova, an increase in the incidence is expected in September, and the peak will traditionally fall in November-December.
During the vaccination campaign, the region will receive 1 million 804 thousand 320 doses of Sovigripp and Ultrix vaccines. This amount, according to the calculations of the regional Ministry of Health, will be enough to create an immune layer in 45% of the population. By the way, last year 44.4% (planned 42%) of the region's residents received the vaccine.
Recall that free of charge, that is, at the expense of the federal budget, all children from 6 months of age are vaccinated. Also, free vaccination is provided for some categories of adult patients - these are health workers, employees of the education system, transport, trade and retirees. Vaccinations for children are given both in children's school educational institutions and in children's clinics at the place of residence. Adults can get vaccinated at their local clinics. Before vaccination, patients undergo mandatory examinations by doctors: children - examination by a pediatrician, adults - examination by a therapist.
Terrified by the consequences
“Influenza is dangerous for its complications,” Elena Stolyarova, head of the immunoprophylaxis department of the regional center of epidemiology of the KGBUZ, reminds her fellow countrymen. - If the flu is not treated, then myocarditis, meningitis, and cerebral edema are at risk. If you are sick, in no case should you self-medicate, you should immediately seek medical help.
According to the doctor, the vaccinations given will protect against the disease. And if, nevertheless, a person gets sick, then it will be easier to endure the ailment, and recovery will come faster - in 4-5 days.
Many parents of children who go to kindergartens or schools already know that during the period of increased incidence of SARS and influenza, pupils and students will be examined by a health worker before classes to identify those who have symptoms of the disease. Also, educators and teachers have the right not to allow sick children to attend classes. In children's polyclinics, patients will be admitted in special filter rooms with a separate entrance.
