The number of slots for recording for free PCR testing for coronavirus in Moscow polyclinics has increased by more than a thousand. Anastasia Rakova, deputy mayor of the capital for social development, told reporters about it.

“The epidemic situation in the capital remains tense: every day in Moscow, several thousand cases of coronavirus infection are detected. To provide city residents with affordable and convenient diagnostics, we are constantly increasing the volume of testing for COVID-19. We decided from tomorrow to expand the number of slots for recording for free PCR testing by more than a thousand. For this, treatment rooms have increased their opening hours. Thus, in the adult network the number of daily available slots will be 4 thousand 860, and in the children's network - 1 thousand 170. The total volume will exceed 6 thousand PCR tests. Thus, already on Friday there will be more free recording windows at all points,”said Anastasia Rakova.

The deputy mayor recalled that adult Muscovites can get tested for coronavirus infection by PCR free of charge by appointment in one of 162 polyclinics. Children can also take a PCR test - treatment rooms are open for them in 45 children's polyclinics.
