State Duma Deputy Valery Rashkin in his blog on the Echo of Moscow website pointed out the problem of lack of money for the treatment of children with a rare disease - spinal muscular atrophy. A few days ago it became known that Russia does not have funds for this. The Ministry of Health says that there is a shortage of 200 million rubles. But if the children are not provided with expensive medicines, they will simply die. The deputy noted that some time after this terrible news, information appeared on the network about the allocation of 3 billion rubles to the Nikita Mikhalkov Foundation for the development of culture. It turns out that one person close to power is more expensive than 900 children suffering from a rare disease and in need of surgical treatment? The consciousness of a healthy person refuses to perceive such information. Culture cannot be more valuable than the health of children. After all, Russia has an already developed culture, and funds can be allocated for it later. And sick children cannot wait. According to Valery Rashkin, it is regrettable that the people's money has been allocated for culture. If the population of the country could participate in the redistribution of funds, sick children would not be left in a dangerous situation.
