Nadezhda Pachganova, a mother of many children from the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug, responded to an official who, in response to criticism of social support measures, suggested putting her children in an orphanage.
Pachganova, in a commentary to Tsargrad, said that the regional media are trying to portray her as "a single mom who got into an argument with a heroic official."
In fact, according to Pachganova, there was no unfounded criticism in her post, and she represented the interests of a large public Movement for the rights of large families in Russia, and did not speak for herself.
Against the backdrop of the scandal, Pachganova created a petition in which she recalled the dubious measures with targeted support, where the accepted criteria allow that some large families may be left without help. The petition was supported by 6 thousand people.
Earlier, the head of the Public Chamber of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug, Irina Maksimova, apologized for the statements of a member of the chamber, Eduard Loginov, who offered to transfer the children to the state to a woman who criticized measures to support families.
Loginov himself explained that he did not offend parents with many children, he himself is such, but wrote to a specific person, because “he could not once again pass by the outright filth.” The social activist added that he helped large families in Surgut to receive the prescribed benefits. According to him, the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug is one of the best social policies in the country.
