VLADIKAVKAZ, July 4. / TASS /. The grand opening of the largest kindergarten in North Ossetia took place in Vladikavkaz. This was reported to journalists on Thursday by the press service of the head and government of the republic.
"Today is a significant event for the whole republic. For the first time, such a large kindergarten for 280 children has been opened. The necessary conditions for the growth and development of our kids have been created. All this became possible thanks to the work that was carried out by the government of the republic together with the federal authorities. Thank you. builders who did a good job and erected this large social facility, "said the head of the republic Vyacheslav Bitarov at the opening of the kindergarten.
A kindergarten has opened in the 18th microdistrict in Vladikavkaz. The construction of the facility was carried out in 2018 as part of the priority project "Mortgage and rental housing" of the state program of the Russian Federation "Provision of affordable and comfortable housing and utilities for citizens of the Russian Federation."
The kindergarten has a canteen and a swimming pool, four buildings for kids. There is also a music room, a gym, a medical block, outdoor playgrounds, walking areas and other infrastructure for decent preschool education and leisure. The new educational institution has 15 groups, including four nurseries.
In total, last year in North Ossetia, four kindergartens were opened for young residents of the republic, which made it possible to create 480 new places.
In 2019, in addition to a preschool institution for 280 places in Vladikavkaz, five more kindergartens will be commissioned. In particular, a kindergarten for 120 children will appear in the village of Dachnoe in the Prigorodny District, for 120 children in the village of Ir in the Prigorodny District, for 230 children in the city of Mozdok, for 120 children in the village of Michurino in the Ardonsky District and for 150 children in the village of Lukovskaya Mozdok district.
The authorities of North Ossetia intend to provide kindergarten places for all children aged one and a half to seven years by 2021. In total, almost 1,900 children are currently on the waiting list.
