In the Kazakh city of Ekibastuz, a policeman rescued an eight-year-old boy who fell into a trench. The child was covered with earth, Kazinform reports.
“The local police inspector of the local police service department of the Ekibastuz police department, senior lieutenant Takhir Kasumov, while conducting a round of the administrative section, received a call that two children fell into a trench in the courtyard of 105 Mashhur Zhusup street, rushed to the scene,” the press told service of the police department of Pavlodar region.
In particular, two children born in 2011 and 2012 played on the embankment of trenches in the yard and fell into a hole about 2.5 meters deep. Their friend asked the adults for help. One boy was pulled out, and the other was not visible, as he was heavily covered with earth.
Kasumov, who arrived at the scene, went downstairs and began to dig out the earth with his hands, since the soil could collapse due to the shovel. The policeman pulled the child out from under the rubble. The boy showed no signs of life. Takhir Kasumov began to give him artificial respiration and heart massage, after which the child began to breathe. Thanks to the help of a policeman, the boy was rescued.
