The Presnensky District Court accepted a custody and guardianship suit to limit the rights of the parents of a five-year-old girl who spent her entire life in the capital's private clinic "Mother and Child", the press service of the court told the Moscow City News Agency.
“On Thursday, December 19, the Presnensky District Court accepted the claim of the Department of Social Protection of the Population of the Arbat District of the Central Administrative District of Moscow, an indefinite circle of persons on the restriction of the parental rights of Yuri Zinkin and Tatyana Maksimova,” the court said.
Pre-trial preparation is scheduled for January 14, 2020.
Earlier, the Moskva Agency reported that the perinatal medical center where the child is located first applied to the Department of Labor and Social Protection of the Population in January 2019. Since March 2019, the center has been suing the girl's parents demanding to take the child out of the institution. At the same time, the guardianship had no reason to take the child from the parents, since nothing threatened the girl's life and health. All these years, her parents paid for the girl's living in a separate ward, as well as the services of two nannies who stayed with the child around the clock, worked with her, she received the necessary treatment and training.
